What commissions don't affect

This is the important part:

• Clinic rankings and data. Our clinic pages are built on CDC National ART Surveillance System data — federal data that no one can pay to change. Commissions have zero influence on which clinics we list, what data we show, or how we present it.
• Reviews. Clinics cannot pay to add, remove, or alter patient reviews. Moderation decisions are based on our published content rules, not on commercial relationships.
• Editorial content. Our guides are written to inform you, not to sell you things. When we mention a product, it's because it fits the topic — and affiliate relationships never determine what we cover or what we say about it.

Featured and paid placements

In the future, we may offer clinics clearly labeled featured placements — for example, a highlighted profile or sponsored visibility in directory listings. When and if those exist, they will always be labeled as paid placements, and they will never alter the CDC data shown on any clinic's page. A clinic can't buy better numbers, because the numbers come from the CDC.
